A love affair with Bali was the inspiration behind Cloe Cassandro’s brand of ethical beachwear. A close family friendship between the designer and a fantastic local tailor named Eric lead to garments being produced on an individual scale in the signature silk crinkle material, which has since grown to become a permanent production partnership. As the brand has expanded, Eric has been able to move out of his shed and into a house where he has started his own family, and he now manages a small production shop with local tailors and batik experts. All Cloe Cassandro garments are hand made, dyed and printed by Eric and his team using traditional skills and execution, ensuring that their craft is preserved for future generations and a stable income is made for all of the artisans.
