Shicato produce hand-made bags, earrings and accessories by women in Ecuador. The bags are hand woven from toquilla straw or seeds and provide a livelihood for the women workers ensuring them a positive future and helping them to find purpose and support their family. They hope that by supporting local hand crafting will preserve cultures and they strongly believe that they can create a positive change. If everyone thinks differently about fashion and demands better, anything is possible.
