The brand support sustainable techniques and processes to better the fashion industry and the world. To maintain socially and environmentally responsible design, StudyNY use a variety of fabrics including; hemp, organic cotton, ethically sourced alpaca, and other recycled materials. Dyes used in their fabrics range from natural, plant/vegetable, environmentally friendly, procion low impact, and fibre reactive dyes. These dyes do no release any toxic or carcinogenic pollutants like regular synthetic dyes, making it a much cleaner process. Zero waste cutting in most designs is used when creating their garments. Equally, all their garments are manufactured and cut in New York City, making a transparent supply chain for their customers. For these reasons, the brand operates under the motto “Making Fashion without Making Waste”.
