PHIDA proudly hand make all of their beautifully soft knitwear in Jujuy, Argenina using inspiration from a harmonious relationship with nature and modern creations. Their collections use the finest selection of cotton and llama wool, which by nature is much more durable, soft and warm than traditional sheeps wool, and is found in abundance in the region. What makes the brand unique and exclusive is that all their garments are created at 4000 metres above sea level. Their master artisans use ancestral techniques such as loom, crochet and 2 & 5 needles to produce the collection, allowing them to earn a steady income, provide for their families, and boost the local economy. Due to their remoteness, these communities would otherwise struggle to live above the poverty line.
