Created in 1938 in Quimper, France, Armor Lux is today a brand well-known for the originality of its clothes inspired by French maritime tradition and the values conveyed by the sea. Represented by over 75 years of experience, 600 employees and 3 production sites, Armor Lux hold three values at its’ core: quality, innovation and ethics. The brand supports the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Pact, of which it is a co-founder, and is licensed by Max Havelaar for Fairtrade cotton, making it the biggest buyer of Fairtrade cotton yarn in France. Armor Lux is also REACH 1907/2006 and Oekotex 100 certified, two standards that survey the responsible use of chemicals used in the manufacturing process of garments. Most recently, the brand released their “Heritage Collection”, which tells the history of their garments through the use of old knitting techniques that have been bought back to life.
